THE LEVEL 3 OVERARMOR IS LAB TESTED AT CHESAPEAKE BALLISTIC LABS TO CONFORM TO A MODIFIED NIJ STANDARD - 0101.06 DOUBLE SHOT TEST WITH .308 NATO 7.62 FMJ LEAD CORE RIFLE AMMUNITION WITH AN ACCEPTABLE BFD. PLATES USED TO FORM OUR LEVEL 3 OVER ARMOR WERE MANUFACTURED BY HARDWIRE, LLC. HARDWIRE IS ONE OF THE LARGEST MANUFACTURERS OF DYNEEMA PLATE ARMOR AND IS AN ISO: CERTIFIED FACTORY. Nutshellz® TAKES THESE ALREADY CERTIFIED PLATES AND POST FORMS THEM IN OUR MOLDS. AFTER THE FORMING BALLISTIC TESTS WERE ALSO PERFORMED. PATENTS AND PATENTS PENDING AND Nutshellz®TRADEMARKS ARE HELD BY NUTSHELLZ, LLC - DYNEEMA AND HARDWIRE TRADEMARKS ARE HELD BY THOSE RESPECTIVE COMPANIES.

THE OPERATOR RETAINS FULL MOVEMENT CAPABILITIES AND FINALLY HAS THE SAME BALLISTIC PROTECTION LEVEL COVERING HIS GROIN AS HE DOES IN HIS PLATE CARRIER.
